~ Farm Introduction ~

Welcome to Dewmar-Acres' home on the web!  Located in Peyton, Colorado, Dewmar-Acres has been in existence for nearly 40 years.  Over the years we've had nearly every breed, but as of late we're concentrating mostly on Toggenburgs and a few LaManchas and Nubians.

We take the health of our herd very seriously.  Our animals are tested yearly for CAE, with random testing for CL.  Our girls are fed a 16% grain ration along with 2nd cutting alfalfa hay.  Minerals and baking soda are always available.  The goats are also on a strict worming and vaccination regimen.  Generally, our herd is on 305-day DHIA testing, and we try to occasionally get Linear Appraisals done on the goats every couple of years.  We value the importance these tools add to our breeding program.

We also attend as many shows as we can get to in a year.  We've had great success in the ring, and are very proud of our girls!
